and I am sooo done with December
I am done with December. Last three months have been as hectic as months could be.
I can still work and be super productive but I am sure my January will start slow if I do that. It’s the holiday season. There’s no pressure of deadlines, performance, or over-the-top execution.
I don’t usually say this to myself, but maybe “take it slow and rest a little?” Just maybe.
I probably want to binge a new anime or a show (feel free to spam me with recs.) I will watch Mufasa.
Also there’s socialization. My cousins are in India. I have a birthday to attend. A couple of cricket matches. Catching up with some friends. A client’s newsletter launch. A community event. A pitch. Setting up a new project. Rest of the time with my close circle - as much as I can.
So I have a handful already; I should stop myself from adding more (which if you know me is a v v v hard thing to do.)
That’s my current status. Thanks for listening.
But in the other news. 2024 is ending. This one flew real quick. Last December seems yesterday and idk, it was just too fast for me. Especially the second half.
It’s that time of the year - reflections, goal setting, all the BS.
I don’t have goals as such. Maybe a few plans on what projects and life aspects I must prioritize.
I am unlearning the societal impositions and figuring my way out. Trust me, it’s no less confusing than Nolan films. Actually Nolan films aren’t that confusing but you get my point.
What you see next are a few notes to myself - on how I wish to shape my thinking and approach in 2025 or whenever.
In no specific order:
1/ Seek tough battles.
Fear of failure makes me avoid challenges and stay in a shell. Once I start seeking tough battles, I get excited by tasks out of my league. I get excited by the fact I have to bring my A game.
Excitement puts out fear - that’s a beautiful headspace I forgot existed. 2025 is for homecoming.
2/ Be unbelievingly resourceful.
Every time someone needs something, I should know one of the three:
A person who gets it done
A person who knows a person who gets it done
A place to find a person who has access to people who get it done
3/ Values and people first. Everything else is second.
4/ Joy from accomplishments is greater than from starting projects. Get things done.
5/ Create a collaborative environment wherever possible
I wish to support people to the best of my abilities - with network, reach, or feedback. World is a better place when we collaborate and cheer for each other.
6/ Don’t be afraid to try new things
You don’t have to love new experiences to try them. Only exploration leads to discoveries.
7/ Health is the easiest to ignore. Just don’t.
That’s everything I guess. I might have missed many, but if it’s not on top of my mind, it might not be as important.
Hopefully, 2025 has more love, memories, fun, and money.
I was in Kochi last week. Thought you might like some pictures.

What’s up with you?
I am curious about your holiday season. What are you doing from Christmas and new year? Are you travelling, spending time with your family? Or just slouching on bed like me?
Write to me and I can’t wait for us to gossip. I’ll be waiting.
Love,
Vikra.
