Fixing my life in 30 days: Day 7

goooooooooooood day!

I wasn’t proud of myself in the last two days while writing the issues because I didn’t feel I made the best of my day. Or let’s say I wasn’t on track in turning things the way I want in these thirty days.

But good news. Today was good. Overall, I have covered most things I’d do on an ideal day.

I am a little sick (cold, sore throat, and mild, constant headache), so keeping today’s email to only what I’ve done throughout the day and not sharing many thoughts.

Ready?

  • Woke up at 8 am (that’s strange because I usually wake up by 7 max) to a good, fulfilling sleep + mild sore throat

  • Worked an hour on Cognition’s new issue

  • Read newsletters for thirty minutes

  • I am building a cohort for newsletter writers. Discussed a few things with the team for some time on the chat

  • Watched two episodes of Young Sheldon + Breakfast

  • Dad had some work at the bank. Needed me there and it took ninety minutes. You should see the relationship my dad formed with all the bank employees—it was sooo fun, looks like he’s friends with everyone

  • By the time I returned from the bank, my cold started feeling worse. I had my lunch and expected health to get better, but it didn’t. I had meetings from 3-5 pm, which I cancelled and rested for two hours

  • Watched podcasts on the VC world and gut health: thirty minutes each

  • Did some spec work to push my skills. It took seventy-five minutes, but I broke down, analyzed, and rewritten Baskin Robbin’s copy

  • Played some music. Vibing to Khalasi. Thanks to Abhilash

  • Worked out 8-9 pm. Honestly, I’d have died of guilt if I had not hit the gym today. I had no energy, but I somehow managed. Kinda proud

  • Started meditation. Meditated for seven minutes. Will hit twenty minutes by the weekend

  • Post Dinner, I worked for an hour to find leads for my freelance biz. I shortlisted a few profiles and I’ll pitch them tomorrow

  • …and now this newsletter

That’s about it. I really want to share a few thoughts but I am hardly able to type now. I am listing the topics here and will cover them tomorrow:

  • Fear of wasted potential

  • Engineering activities

  • Young Sheldon (is baar pakka)

Message for you:

I am not really sure how you’re feeling reading these daily emails, but I just want to say thank you for keeping me accountable. I’m doing my best to give something in each email that makes you think, smile, or provide value of any kind.

Thank you ♥️

I was trying to take a selfie and this uncle spotted me. So, I became conscious and took a selfie without taking a selfie. iykyk 👍
