Fixing my life in 30 days: Day 5

uhmm

I didn’t do a lot today. For some reason, I was too tired—right from my insufficient sleep in the morning to a disturbing afternoon nap, I could hardly focus on what I meant to.

I even have a few topics to talk about, but I don’t think I have the energy to type it out for you. But here is the deal. I’ll let you know what these topics are so it keeps me accountable to share my perspectives in the next two days:

  • Finding the kick in results vs ideas

  • Young Sheldon (ok last time)

  • Fear of wasted potential

In the other news, it’s 10:24 pm at the time I write this line, and today has surprisingly sucked the energy out of me even though I didn’t do anything significant.

  • I resumed my practice today. Although I did go to my camp 1-2 times every week, it didn’t feel like it because I was playing way too many matches. I don’t have many this month, which means I could work on a few things on a stretch—like my wicketkeeping. Today was good.

  • There was some construction happening beside my house—not sure about the walls, but they did drill through my head while I tried to take a nap.

  • I studied some marketing and writing shit for an hour. The weather in Hyderbad is cold right now, making it perfect for some reading.

  • I met my friend in the afternoon for three hours.

  • Shashank is working on dopecontent’s website: a content hub for all my content. We are really excited about this, and the first design draft looks aesthetic and smooth. Can’t wait to show you this. We’ll launch by December 20th. Shanks and I had a 30-minute call discussing what we could do better.

  • Abhishek wanted me to speak on his podcast. We recorded it today for an hour. He’s doing this really sweet gesture for his wife and I am not sure if I am allowed to talk about it. I will ask him, and if he’s okay, I’ll share a cute story tomorrow.

  • After 6 pm, I kind of had a lazy evening, hopping between different YouTube videos and a few episodes of Young Sheldon. I worked for an hour on social media content and now this newsletter. Did some data reading of how NLs are performing and some other operational tasks.

I should probably step up with my workouts and content creation speed. The current pace will not cut it.

I am also considering to start meditation tomorrow. I have been on and off with it, but I feel calmer, conscious, and focused whenever I meditate. Will try to bring it back to my life.

Many things to talk about. Hopefully soon.

Good night!

I forgot about the screenshots with Abhishek and Shashank. Plus, I don’t have any other pictures for today. So I just took this picture while I was writing the issue because we need something for the thumbnail hehe.
