Fixing my life in 30 days: Day 25

Decembering yet?

I love the vibe of Christmas.

Ten years ago, I used to count the stars or Christmas trees on all Christian households on my way from school to home. I remember doing this for three-to-four Decembers before I got bored of it.

One of my favourite memories.

Strangely I never celebrated Christmas. To be honest, I don’t even know how it is celebrated. If you’re my close friend, you might have heard “we should celebrate Christmas sometime” from me a thousand times over the last four years.

Hopefully tomorrow. If not, there is always another December.

In any case…

Merry Christmas! 🎄♥️

December hasn’t Decembered for me yet. I don’t think it will either. Probably because I am not taking any holidays now, nor am I going to any parties. I don’t intend to either.

I just want to be home this holiday season.

Will take time off work, meet some close friends, and host a small house party on New Year’s Eve. Not sure. Will see.

From today and the 30-day series:

  • I felt a little agitated after a long time today—possibly due to the workload. The last few days have been smooth

  • Worked out in the morning. Not the best of sessions. I knew I was extremely tired but didn’t want to break the streak. Mom said I am losing weight (when moms say it, don’t take it too seriously. they’re usually sweet and say nice things)

  • Spent time with my friend

  • Took a two-hour session with My Captain. Thanks to teaching, now I can speak for three hours straight without losing my energy or audience

  • I haven’t ordered food at home for over a week now. If I want to eat junk, it’s always when I go out. Junk doesn’t come home

  • Doing my 2023 review. It will be a detailed one, covering all aspects of my life. I’ll publish it in my business newsletter: Cognition

  • Tried writing copy for my website. I wasn’t in the best creative space to pull it off.
