Fixing my life in 30 days: Day 14

My LinkedIn account got suspended

“Hello, police station? Where do I file a complaint on this sexy cold weather for hindering my productivity?”

Man, all I wanted was to sleep on the bed (and I did.) I should have at least taken some calls. Would have got some good info or something.

A few notable things though:

  • Had dinner with my cricket friend

  • Spent two hours on the project I am coming up with in January

  • Watched Inside NSG

  • Finished Value Props

  • Made three outlines for two clients

Similar to what I did two days ago, I have some thoughts. Dropping ‘em:

Physical Health

Like I have told you many times, this 30-day thing is not a success without me taking care of my physical health. We still have 16 days, and I want to keep something important at stake in case I fail.

I need you to promise me this: If my gym sessions are less than 12 in the next 16 days, you will unsubscribe to this newsletter. You will only resubscribe if I ever keep a story mentioning I went to the gym for ten days straight on my Instagram.

I might have matches, too much work, or even bad health; if it’s less than 12 in the next 16 days, just pull the plug. In the worst-case scenario, I’ll run a kilometer and do a set of planks.

Naruto

It was around this time last year I started watching Naturo. A year later, I am still tripping over it. I don’t know how I came across the first episode and why I clicked on it, but all I remember is how it made me feel three months and seven hundred episodes later.

If you haven’t watched Naruto yet, I highly recommend you do.

I even wrote an issue on why I loved Naturo. The edition even got me a fun gig—got paid INR 15k for writing 20 lines in two hours from Germany and France’s biggest toy company, PLAYMOBIL.

Writing before sleeping

For the last 15 days, my final act before sleeping is this 30-day series.

I occasionally write my diary (Fun Fact: I got a really good name for my diary: THE DAYS I LIVED. I am good at naming stuff), but I’d recommend you to write daily about your day.

We do a lot more than we think we do and if we don’t look back on where we invested our time, we’re never going to process our actions.

Just have a look at your day.

What you do with it is an afterthought.

Respect

I have been a cricketer. Now I am a writer, freelancer, and creator. If not anything, unconventional career paths taught me to respect people of all professions.

It is easier to respect government officers, professors, software employees, doctors, etc., in the society we live. But when you live a life outside these norms, speak to a lot of people on the unconventional path, and even more with the people in the traditional route, you will understand one thing: everyone is trying hard in their own capacity and it’s not easy to do what they do.

It’s 1:06 AM. I think it’s a good place to park this issue here.

I woke up to my LinkedIn account getting suspended for not verifying it with a government ID. I wrote to LI, and they asked for 24-48 hours to resolve things.

I hope it’ll be all good by the time I wake up—or I’ll lose 6.7k followers.

Good night!!
