Fixing my life in 30 days: Day 11

New Targets

After some really good meals, a bit of work, some fresh air, and seven hours of driving, I am finally back home.

It was a visit due for long and I am glad it happened. My grandma is doing better now with the meds—and she happily gave me two thousand rupees (she thinks I still buy chocolates with the money she gives) and kissed me goodbye.

I spent most of my time either sleeping, eating, driving, or talking to my family. I blame the cosy climate.

But like always, I squeezed in some time for work. I felt I wouldn’t be able to concentrate at first, so I mostly had operational tasks on my To-Do. That’s how my first session of the day went as well.

But as time progressed and after waking up from a two-hour nap, I had this crazy creative rush to do something with writing (artists usually call this inspiration or something.)

My mind was working fine and the ideas kept hitting. I was in deep work mode for the next forty minutes and crafted twelve killer copies to promote my business newsletter, Cognition. I shared it with my team and they feel all of these are pretty badass. We’re planning to use one every week—will experiment with a few and then decide.

That’s the thing with creative professions. You have a planned list and all of a sudden you’re in the mood for creating something that’s not even on your list.

Also, we are one-third up with our 30-Day series. It’s a 6/10 so far but I think I should define it better to measure if this series is a success or not.

By the 30th Day,

  1. I should close at least two clients

  2. Get 60 more subs for Cognition (now at 605)

  3. Get 30 more subs for Vikra’s Café (now at 263)

  4. Develop one new hobby

  5. Lose at least three kgs. I will check and tell you my weight tomorrow

  6. Workout 4x a week

  7. Make at least 10 guests say yes to writing guest emails on Cognition

  8. Meditate 5x a week

  9. Publish biz ebook

  10. Publish 2023 Travel Memoir

It’s a 10-point list—and the countdown be…
